STEM Society × NVCC Tech Club Hackathon 2025
Theme: AI for Impact
Date: October 9th–23rd, 2025
Location: NVCC Loudoun – LH 114
Created by minds, fueled by machines — this two-week hackathon invites students from all majors to explore how Artificial Intelligence can make a real-world difference. Whether you’re into coding, design, healthcare, engineering, or storytelling, this event is your chance to turn bold ideas into meaningful solutions.
Participants will collaborate in small teams to develop projects that integrate AI to address challenges in areas such as:

Workshops, mentorship, and networking opportunities will guide you from concept to prototype. No experience required — just creativity, curiosity, and a drive to make an impact!
Requirements
What to Build
Create a project that integrates AI for Impact — showing how technology can solve problems, inspire creativity, or improve daily life. Your project could be:

A working prototype (web, mobile, or hardware)

A research project or simulation

A design concept, visual story, or presentation

Anything that creatively demonstrates AI’s potential to make a difference.
What to Submit

A clear project description and its purpose

Explanation of how AI is used

Screenshots, demo videos, or presentation slides

Source code or documentation (if applicable)

Team member names and roles
A 1–3 minute video explaining your idea, how it works, and the impact it aims to create. Demos are encouraged!
